1. FRESHEYES

➔ PRINT LAYOUT / Editorial and Art Direction / March 2024

Fresh Eyes is an annual publication powered by GUP Magazine (Guide to Unique Photography) — a Dutch initiative dedicated to spotlighting emerging photographic talent from around the globe. Based in the Netherlands, Fresh Eyes offers a curated platform for rising photographers to present their work to a wider international audience, including galleries, museums, creative agencies, and media outlets.

Each edition of the publication captures the most compelling developments in contemporary photography, showcasing diverse artistic voices and offering insights into current trends. The 2025 edition, for example, features an eclectic mix of photographers from various countries, underscoring the project’s global reach. Beyond the printed publication, Fresh Eyes extends its impact through events and exhibitions. Notably, the 2025 book launch was held during Haute Photographie Rotterdam, offering participating artists the opportunity to present their work in a dynamic physical space.

By serving as a launchpad for new talent, Fresh Eyes plays a vital role in connecting emerging photographers with the professional art world, opening doors to future collaborations, representation, and visibility.
The project is led by Linda Zhengová and Roy Kahmann.
